My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms needed updating but were spacious and had all we needed for a few days in Edinburgh, although they were clean but very tatty. The service was a bit disappointing as the staff seemed depressed, but thankfully some were really friendly. The location was convenient, supporting my stay to explore Edinburgh, although some parts of the room needed attention. The dining options were varied but not everyone's cup of tea. Overall, a decent stay with some areas that could be improved.
